"Once Bitten...is the theatre that cabaret has been threatening to make since the neo-burlesque revival sneaked vaudeville in the back door... plays the traditional cabaret structure like a choreographer using ballet technique, as a foundation for a meditation on failure, love and insecurity" (Vilearts, Glasgow) ****
